What Happens After Launch, and What It Costs
After launch there are three possible recurring services from us: Care at EUR 100-300 a month, SEO growth at EUR 500-800 a month, and SEO + GEO at EUR 750-1.200+ a month, if you take them. Everything else is optional and priced on its own, including SEO, which we quote as a separate service rather than folding it quietly into a monthly fee.
Launch is the day the site becomes real, not the day the work stops. Something in the stack updates, a form breaks in a browser you have never opened, a price changes, a staff photo needs replacing. The useful question is which of those you should be paying for and which you should not.
What Care covers
- Updates to the platform and the libraries underneath, so the site does not rot quietly
- Monitoring, so you hear about downtime from us rather than from a customer
- Backups, and the check that a backup actually restores
- Small fixes: a dead link, a form field, a wrong opening time, a swapped image
Care does not cover a redesign and it does not cover new features. That boundary is the reason the price can be EUR 100-300 a month instead of an open retainer that neither side understands. A fee that covers anything you can think of has to be priced for the worst month you might have, and you pay that price in all the quiet ones.
Where you land inside EUR 100-300 follows the size of what you launched. A step 01 landing page has one page and a form to keep working. A step 04 build with login, dashboard, API, CRM, payments or a chatbot has far more surface, and far more that can fail without anyone noticing.
What is not Care, and how it is priced
New features are priced as add-ons, and the quote confirms the scope. That matters most in one place: payments. Adding checkout to an existing step 03 business website is the payments add-on at EUR 600-1.500, not a small fix, because a payment provider, order records and every failure case around them have to be designed and tested.
Smaller additions are add-ons too. A second language on a step 02 mini-site is EUR 250-500 for the technical setup, with translation separate, and an extra simple page on a step 03 site is EUR 150-250, each confirmed by the quote. What we will not do is call that a fix and let it disappear into Care, because then you are paying a maintenance price for development, and the maintenance quietly stops happening.
The costs after launch
| Line | Price | One-off or ongoing | What it is not |
|---|---|---|---|
| Care | EUR 100-300 a month | Ongoing | Not a redesign, not new features |
| SEO foundation | EUR 450-750 | One-off | Not a monthly commitment |
| SEO growth | EUR 500-800 a month | Ongoing | Not a promise of rankings |
| New features | Priced as add-ons | One-off | Not included in Care |
| Hosting, domain, third-party services | Separate costs | Ongoing | Agreed per project |
Care, SEO growth and SEO + GEO are the monthly services you would pay us for. Hosting, the domain and any third-party service are separate costs, and the hosting arrangement itself is agreed per project rather than fixed. The SEO foundation is a single piece of work with an end.
Why SEO is priced on its own
Because it is separate work, and because bundling it hides which half of a fee is doing anything. A site can be technically clean and still invisible, and it can rank while being technically scruffy. Those are different problems with different fixes, and a single number across both tells you nothing about either.
The SEO foundation at EUR 450-750 is one-off. Search Console and analytics set up properly, indexation checked, technical hygiene, titles and descriptions written, internal links put where they belong, and a plan for the next 3 to 6 months. When it is done it is done, and you can act on the plan without us.
SEO growth at EUR 500-800 a month is the version that continues: technical and on-page work, service and location pages written, internal links extended as the site grows, and reporting you can actually read. It earns its place when new pages keep appearing. It does not earn its place on a site that is not going to change.
The weeks around launch
A step 01 landing page is built in 1-2 weeks and a step 04 web app in 6-12 weeks, and the last stretch of either is the unglamorous part. This is the order we work in.
- Before go-live: analytics and Search Console connected, forms submitted end to end into a real inbox, redirects mapped from the old URLs to the new ones if a site is being replaced.
- Go-live, with the old site reachable until DNS has settled everywhere.
- After go-live: 14 days of support on launch defects, while we watch what real visitors do to pages that until then had only been tested by us.
- Then Care at EUR 100-300 a month, or nothing, if what you launched is small and stable enough to leave alone.
Redirects are the part worth arguing about. A new site on the same domain with new URL structure and no redirects throws away the search results the old pages had earned, and that loss is slow and hard to see.
When to spend less
Not every site needs a monthly anything. If you launched a step 01 landing page at EUR 600-900 that says what you do and collects enquiries, and nothing about the business is about to change, what you need is a working backup and someone you can call. That is not worth a subscription. The honest version of Care there is no Care and an email to us when something breaks.
The same applies to SEO. If your customers arrive through referral or walk past a building, EUR 500-800 a month of SEO growth is paying for a channel you do not use. The SEO foundation at EUR 450-750 is still worth doing once, because it is one-off and it deals with the technical reasons the people already searching for your name might not find you. The rest of the pricing sits on packages.
Questions buyers ask
Is Care mandatory?
No. You own the code, the repository and the database, so any developer can maintain the site, including one you employ. Care at EUR 100-300 a month is a subscription to not having to think about it, and declining it costs you nothing with us.
What counts as a small fix?
Correction and content work: a wrong phone number, a stale price, an image swap, a link pointing nowhere, a form field that needs renaming. If a request changes what the site does rather than what it says, it is a feature, priced as an add-on or quoted on its own rather than absorbed into Care.
Why is hosting not included in Care?
Because hosting is agreed per project rather than fixed. We can host, and where it sits depends on what was built and who else needs access. Keeping it out of Care means the monthly fee pays for work rather than for a cost passed through.
Can I start Care later?
Yes. A site can launch and sit still for a while, and picking Care up when it starts changing is reasonable. What you should not do is skip backups and hope, so if you decline Care we show you where the backups are and how to restore one.
Does the SEO foundation guarantee rankings?
No, and anyone selling that guarantee is selling something else. The foundation makes sure your pages can be found, read and indexed, and leaves you with a plan for the next 3 to 6 months. Whether you outrank a competitor depends on what you publish and who links to you, and that is the work inside SEO growth at EUR 500-800 a month. How we build sites that are quick to change is on design and engineering.
